how viable is the anarchic ideal in actual practice, as far as an individual's everyday actions/ reactions/inactions are concerned? if i spend my time doing exactly what i feel like doing, and only that -

the pragmatic answer is an obvious one. why does my mind refuse to choose and follow it? i have a relatively coherent long-term telos - while my here and now follows a path so essentially beyond this intellect(the one writing this blog post) that i realise that i cannot even write about it.

negative theology proceeds from the fundamental premise that any awareness of a/an/the divine we humans might talk about or think of is necessarily only a representation of that which is beyond the brickwork architectures of human sensual perception and language - beyond not in a material manner, but rather transcendent in a way only vaguely sensed by our music, and perhaps geometry.

can this discourse of the cosmic - all theology, all poetry, all prayer, in fact, all man shall ever write - be interpreted as an allegorical looking-glass to see further into the problem of the self?

to think about it, the way to the self's freedom, its moment of mystical absence - might thus lie in this endlessly repeated chronicle of its presence.
