Impatiens

White Impatiens

The impatiens in the tub, beside the wooden bench
I'm sitting on, has leaves that are uniformly
a light green almost to the state of water,
different from the impatiens twenty feet away,
over by the birdbath. Are they a different
species or are the differences the result
of different conditions of light or earth?
The green of these leaves is almost an absence of green,
and the stalks look like rays of light under water.
The blossoms are pure white, with yellow centers.
